At Hold URL (available at https://holdurl.com), we specialize in the sale of ready-made businesses, including digital assets, premium domain names, and fully operational website frameworks. Because our products are entirely digital and transferred permanently into your ownership, standard physical return rules do not apply.
Instead, to provide absolute peace of mind and complete transparency, all transactions are exclusively secured and processed via Escrow.com. This policy outlines exactly how your money and assets are protected during the purchase and transfer process.
1. The Escrow.com Safe-Purchase Structure
We do not collect payments directly on holdurl.com. Every transaction is governed by a strict, neutral third-party escrow process designed to eliminate risk for both the buyer and the seller:
-
Securing Funds: Once you agree to buy a website listing, a milestone transaction is opened on Escrow.com. You will deposit the purchase price safely into the Escrow trust account.
-
Asset Transfer: Only after Escrow.com notifies us that your funds are fully secured and verified will we begin transferring full legal ownership of the domain name and the WordPress/Elementor backup files over to your hosting environment.
-
The Inspection Period: Upon receipt of the assets, Escrow.com grants you a mandatory, pre-agreed Inspection Period (typically 3 to 5 business days).
2. Refunds During the Inspection Period
Your payment is eligible for a full refund only while it is sitting inside the Escrow.com system during your designated Inspection Period.
A. When a Refund is Approved:
You may reject the assets and request a cancellation/refund through Escrow.com if:
-
The domain name cannot be successfully transferred to your registrar due to a technical block on our end.
-
The website framework delivered to your host severely deviates from the live demo/screenshot listing displayed on Hold URL at the time of purchase.
B. When a Refund is Denied:
Once the digital assets have been delivered as described, a refund cannot be issued for:
-
“Change of heart” or buyers remorse after the website files have been successfully migrated to your server.
-
Dislike of the niche, layout, or design choices that were freely visible on our public marketplace prior to purchase.
-
Minor issues that can easily be modified by you using the built-in Elementor editor.
3. Post-Release: Finality of Sale
Once you successfully inspect the website and click “Accept Assets” on Escrow.com (or if the Inspection Period expires without a formal dispute being filed), Escrow.com permanently releases the funds to Hold URL.
⚠️ Important Legal Notice: Once funds are released by Escrow.com to Hold URL, the sale is final, absolute, and non-refundable. Because digital ownership of the domain and database has completely changed hands, we cannot accept returns, clawback the assets, or issue partial refunds from this point forward.
4. Post-Purchase Customizations and Support
While sales are legally final once the escrow wraps up, we stand by our builds. If you encounter setup errors, broken links, or configuration bugs resulting from the migration itself, we will gladly help you iron them out.
Please note that this courtesy support does not include adding custom features, designing new pages, or changing the foundational code of the site for you.
